What changes from site to site is the answer, and this site gives the same answer it gives to everything: not a grip, a system.
A single chord diagram is a poor gift. It tells you one address and leaves you to believe that is where the chord lives. The truth is that any chord exists five times over on a six-string neck, in five shapes whose geometry never changes and whose only difference is the fret they start on. Learn today's chord in all five and you have not learned a chord — you have learned a route up the neck.
So the reading below is the shape set, ranked by starting fret, each row carrying its exact fingering. The order is not a preference: it is the library's own recomputed neck order, the same number this site's CAGED validator proves transposition-invariant for every root.
Some days there is no shape set, and the page says so rather than inventing one. The five tagged shapes exist for the seven qualities the system was built on, and the network's pool deliberately reaches past them — a suspended chord or an added ninth has no CAGED form, and pretending otherwise would be the kind of confident nonsense this site exists to avoid. On those days you get the library's own voicings, lowest first.
